Locuras of sommer

Este verano ha sido genial! y especialmente Febrero ha estado lleno de momentos improvisados que han dejado buenas memorias en mi cabecita.
La primera locura: volar a la Reina con todos los M!

Todo comenzó cuando el viernes pasado Megan, Melanie y yo decidimos juntarnos en mi casa, noche de chicas, papas, refrescos y conversar harto... plan perfecto

En medio de la noche Martín me escribe y junto a Matias nos dicen que si nos motivamos a ir a la Reina ahora ya!

Nosotras KEEEEEE? AHORA?

Nos miramos, lo pensamos 2 segundos y obviamente NO fuimos!

naaaaaaaaaaa les dijimos que si enseguida por mil razones: era viernes, estamos de vacaciones, habría comida y otras cosillas por ahí. Así que el par de locos volaron a mi casa, llegaron en media hora y nos fuimos volando a la Reina. 

Y si han conducido alguna vez en su vida junto a Martín Valenzuela, sabrán que realmente me refiero VOLANDO

Era una noche tibia, con buen reggetón en el auto, 4 chicos con nombre incial M y yo, Scarlett 

pero la noche sólo comenzaba...

This summer has been great! especially February has been full of improvised moments that have left good memories in my head

The first crazy thing we did: fly to "La Reina" (a commune in Santiago, 30 minutes from my place) with all the M!

Everything started last Friday when Megan, Melanie and I decided to get together at home, girls night, fries, sodas and talking... perfect plan!

Suddenly, in the middle of the night, Martin text me and (ft Matias) 

tell us that if we wanna go to his house

We were like WHAT? NOW?

We looked each other, we thought two seconds and obviously we did not go!

joke, we said yes! for many reasons: it was Friday, IT'S SUMMER, they would have food and other things out there. So the flew to my house from "La Reina", they came in half an hour and then went flying there again.

but that was just the beginning of the night...

Después fuimos a comprar pizza y nos fuimos a lo más alto de la Reina 

(literal! se ve todoooooooo Santiago de noche desde allí)

comimos pizza y de pronto, como a las 1 o 2 am todos comenzamos a mirar la piscina...

pensando en cuánto desearíamos haber traído traje de baño...

upsssssss!

y en ese momento ocurrió la segunda locura

Subimos al 2do piso y comenzamos a buscar ropa para usar 

y booooom: al agua pato!

Estuvimos mucho rato ahí y lo demás, ya saben,  se queda en pishinaaaaaa haha

We bought and ate pizza, but then all of us saw the pool...

and I started to think how much I wish I had brought a swimsuit ...

upsssssss

and then the second crazy thing:

BOOOOOM, we jumped to the pool (we found some other clothes)

We were there a long timeeeeeeeeeee

Todo estuvo genial! - excepto que la película que vimos no dió miedo - pero si, todo estuvo genial!

Al día siguiente no fue tan locura, porque si habíamos planeado juntarnos, 

en la misma piscina pero con más personitas bacanes!

Éramos Martín, Pedro, Bárbara, Rocío, Melanie, Megan, Shemnom y yop

pero el problema es que Pedro se fue antes de que llegaran todos,

Melanie llegó con Rocío, pero Melanie se fue antes de que llegara Megan

y Megan llegó cuando no estaba ni Pedro ni Melanie

asi que nunca estuvimos todos juntosXD

de todos modos fue genial el día de piscina donde Martín

Everything was great! - Except that the movie wasn't so good - but everything was great!

The next day was normal because we had planned to go out together, in the same place to swim, but with other people

We were Martin, Pedro, Barbara,  Rocío, Melanie, Megan, Shemnom and of course Scarlett

but the problem was that Pedro had to go home before,

Melanie left before Megan

and Megan came to the house when Pedro and Melanie weren't there

so we were never all together

anyway it was great  pool day 

Nos estábamos secando, luego de estar mucho rato en la piscina, hasta que se les ocurre la tercera locura: ir a patinar en hielo!

Obvio que TODOS motivadosssssss

We were drying up, after being a long time in the pool, when we found the third crazy thing: Skating on ice NOW
so we got in the car and drove there

 y ahí nos encontramos con estas lindas chicas e Italo :)

Una hora patinando fue increíble!
With these two girls and Italo. One hour skating on ice was perfect!

En verdad no me gustan mucho las cosas improvisadas, siempre suelo hacer planes y lo anoto en mi calendario (supongo que me acostumbré a hacer eso por Dinamarca)
Pero esto fue super improvisado! y todo fue perfecto!
- excepto porque Shem se cayó y luego yo también para que el no se sintiera mal -
pero fue genial, en verdad me encanta la sensación de poder patinar sobre hielo
Nos fuimos a las 23:30? haha y bueno llegué a mi casa a las 00:00 justito

I don't really like the improvised things, I usually always make plans and write them in my calendar (I guess I got used to do that because in Denmark everyone does that)
But this was super improvised! and everything was perfect!
- Except that Shem fell and I did too -
but it was great, I really love the feeling of skating on ice
Then we just went home

El resto de las cosas de esta semana no han sido tan locas, el lunes jugamos basketball!
y eso fue lo mejorrrrrrrrrr!

The rest of the things I did during the week were normal, and we played Basketball last Monday!
best thing ever!

Y luego de jugar nos fuimos a mi casa, mandamos a algunos chicos a comprar al McDonald's y así estuvimos el resto de la tarde, comiendo y recuperando las calorías perdidas juju
And after playing we went to my house, we send some guys to buy at McDonald's and 
 the rest of the afternoon we just ate all the calories we lost before :)

En fin, pienso que es importante aprender a disfrutar cada momento que tengamos y que está bien hacer locurasssssss!
Cuando era estudiante de intercambio nos enseñaron que era bueno atreverse,
que teníamos que probar cosas nueva (siempre y cuando fueran buenas),
 que teníamos que intentar! porque obviamente TODO era nuevo,
y además porque nadie nos conocía (una buena ventaja para atreverse),
es por eso que los estudiantes de intercambio son tan abiertos a hacer cosas nuevas,
pero me he dado cuenta también que no es necesario serlo,
que debo seguir manteniendo esa misma actitud de aventura para lo que venga, aún cuando ya no soy una estudiante de intercambio.
Y aunque me gusta planear todo, como dije antes, es bueno también a veces salirse de los planes.
Éste mes ha sido increíble y se que el resto del año puede seguir siendo igual.

Anyway, I think it's important to learn to enjoy every moment we have and it's okay to do crazy things.
When I was an exchange student, I learned that it was good trying new things
we had to try all the time because obviously everything was new,
and because nobody knew us 
that's why exchange students are so open to new things,
but I've also noticed that you don't need to be an exchange student to maintain the same attitude of adventure for whatever comes.
And although I like to plan everything, as I said before, it's also good sometimes get out of the plans.
This month has been amazing and the rest of the year may remain the same.
